The iconic high-performance servo motor model P01-48-M01 now features improved cooling capabilities thanks to an integrated mounting flange and an optional heat sink.

Continuous innovation in product development is an important element of LinMot’s DNA. Based on this, as well as its close communication with users, the company has once again managed to effectively meet customer expectations – with the new version of the linear electric motor P01-48-M01.

After the models P01-23 and P01-37, the P01-48 (in size 48) is now also available in an HP (High-Performance) version, including a further advanced modification with an integrated mounting flange and the option of adding a heat sink.

A solution that is both more flexible, powerful and compact

The increased efficiency of the motors in the series is due to proven improvements in the windings and magnetic circuit, as well as the high-strength materials used for their manufacture.

The improved performance is particularly evident in key parameters such as peak, constant force and speed. Now users can benefit from these advantages even more flexibly – as the design of the new M01 variant is based on the valuable experience of the proven short-body models (P01-23S and P01-37S), the new size 48 features optimized dimensions and a slim-profile design, suitable even where significant space constraints exist.

Technological breakthrough in the cooling segment

With the new version P01-48-M01, highly efficient servo drive applications can be implemented even in the smallest installation spaces, where previously it was not possible to fit solutions of this type or forced cooling was required.

The cooling capacity of the linear servo motor is now much higher thanks to the innovative lightweight cooling flange – without additional space requirements. With their slim housing and low moving mass, the motors in the series are extremely suitable for both moving slide and moving stator applications.

More compact slim design

The advantages of the M01 family include not only the high power density, but also the practical dimensions and the expanded installation options. The integrated mounting flange in size 48 is extremely compact and has standard M8 threaded holes on the left and right as well as at the bottom.

P01 linear motors
