Omron redefines flexibility, efficiency and ease of integration with the latest addition to its inverter range – the J1

Omron has recently expanded its portfolio of frequency inverters with the long-awaited J1 model, which sets new standards in the segment in terms of cost, operational efficiency and compact design.

The J1 is designed specifically for applications where space and budget are limited, but at the same time there are requirements for high reliability and performance. Among the advantages of the latest generation frequency converter are its unparalleled flexibility and ease of use. With a combination of compact dimensions and advanced control functions, the J1 seamlessly integrates into a wide range of applications, ensuring smooth and trouble-free operation and maximum energy savings.

Compact and affordable, with high-end functionalityост

The robust and durable design allows the inverter to be used in demanding conditions, and its functional toolset is complemented by vector control, dynamic torque vector control, built-in PID regulation and overload protection.

The model also has automatic deceleration functions, a “sleep” mode for pumps and fans and a slip compensation mechanism, ensuring stable torque even at low speeds.

Among the clear advantages of the new J1 is its easy installation. The compact housing with IP20 protection degree provides flexibility in installation (in a “side-by-side” configuration) and saves valuable space in the control cabinet. The inverter comes standard with Modbus RS-485 connectivity, and includes digital and analog I/O modules to meet the needs of a wide range of applications in the industrial machinery and equipment control segment.

The J1 can be programmed using either Omron’s popular Sysmac Studio platform or the newly developed free J1 Editor configuration tool. This easy and intuitive to use software allows for quick parameter entry and editing and simplified setup.

With CE, UKCA, UL/cUL, EAC and RoHS conformity certificates, the new inverter is suitable for a wide range of indoor installations in industrial environments and facilities.
