With a width of less than 72 mm, the new Yaskawa MICRO controllers are up to 50% more compact than typical representatives of the family, offering numerous new possibilities in terms of efficiency and utilization of system space, even in the smallest machines and equipment.
Designed as a standalone PLC system, the MICRO CPU processor module, part of the updated MICRO PLC platform, significantly stands out with its modern and compact design, excellent performance and high channel density.
The improved indication and the updated concept in terms of control and functionality allow for even easier and more convenient visualization of essential information for the user.

Fast, faster, MICRO
Based on Yaskawa’s patented SPEED7 technology for the highest clock speeds, the MICRO PLC system is a true champion in fast program processing, for example in precise positioning and a wide range of other demanding control tasks. With the processing power of a large CPU block, the MICRO PLC is the fastest controller in the range on the market.
High channel density
The controllers have 30 integrated digital and analog I/O channels, which allows their flexible use as standalone CPU modules, as well as their expansion with up to 8 peripheral modules. This means that up to 158 input/output channels are available to users in the industrial automation segment.
Simplified diagnostics
The positioning of the I/O LED indicators directly above the relevant connections allows for a clear and unambiguous visualization of the channel status, even with the implemented high density. In addition, the MICRO platform features an integrated web server that allows arbitrary access to data, diagnostics and status interfaces as well as free definition of visualization projects via smart device, PC or laptop.

MICRO PLC devices can be used as high-performance, compact or microcontrollers for centralized or decentralized control – both in series and in special machine configurations. Their small size also makes them suitable for the building automation sector.
